Codemasters have revealed FUEL’s unique GPS system, which calculates routes through the game’s diverse 5,000 square mile world on the fly, Codemasters® today released the new ‘GPS’ gameplay video.

With a succession of flowing arrows, that guide gamers from checkpoint to chequered flag, FUEL’s elegant solution calculates routes dynamically and constantly updates according to vehicle position, in conjunction with a mini-map which pinpoints each racer’s location.

New footage of Extreme Weather in upcoming title “fuel”

Codemasters have released some new footage of their upcoming “Fuel” game. After watching the video, the PPD team are eager to get their hands on a copy of Fuel on its release. This would have to be the most impressive weather effects in any racing game yet.

What an amazing year 2009 will be for racing gamers with the screen shots release of Fuel, this is codemasters newest off road racer and sets the player in an alternative present where the catastrophic affects of global warming have driven the population from great swathes of the United States. Players are given 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) to race through.

The new weather system is bound to bring a vast selection of destructive tornados, sandstorms, thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and blizzards to battle as you race not only against your opponents but mother nature has her own ride and your resting against her paint work, expect her to react. This game is very eagerly awaited at Pole Position Driver.com and look forward to doing a full review on its release
