Ken Block has been signed as one of the key motorsport athletes who will feature in the upcoming Colin McRae:Dirt 2 title. Ken Block, an X Games team-mate of the late Colin McRae is at the forefront of a new breed of drivers . His main drive for rally driving has been due to the inspiration that Colin McRae had become to him.
“As one of the most talented and exciting drivers on the rally scene today, Ken is a perfect fit for Colin McRae: DiRT 2,” said Gavin Raeburn, Senior Executive Producer, Codemasters. “His insight into car handling and track design has already been invaluable to the development team and his endless enthusiasm for the game and rally as a great sport is absolutely priceless to us.”

The official UK Playstation magazine mentions of a possible delay to the F1 sim release till 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. So far though things are hopefully still on track for the PC release as there have been no mention of any slow down with its release.
Codemasters have released some new footage of their upcoming “Fuel” game. After watching the video, the PPD team are eager to get their hands on a copy of Fuel on its release. This would have to be the most impressive weather effects in any racing game yet.

Codemasters have developed a very intriguing design for the Dirt 2 game web site. The sites content at the moment only features a few downloadable screenshots and a mailing list suscription but Codemasters plans are to release the game in September of 2009. Their web site layout allows for more content to be added and the release in September have the whole team at PolePositionDriver very eager for the release of Dirt 2.

What an amazing year 2009 will be for racing gamers with the screen shots release of Fuel, this is codemasters newest off road racer and sets the player in an alternative present where the catastrophic affects of global warming have driven the population from great swathes of the United States. Players are given 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) to race through.
The new weather system is bound to bring a vast selection of destructive tornados, sandstorms, thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and blizzards to battle as you race not only against your opponents but mother nature has her own ride and your resting against her paint work, expect her to react. This game is very eagerly awaited at Pole Position Driver.com and look forward to doing a full review on its release
Fuel is expected in the Q2 of 2009
