Electronic Arts have released the full track list for Need For Speed Shift, most of these tracks will be quite familiar to most Racing fans with a few new ones to test out.

Electronic Arts have released the E3 Trailer for Need For Speed Shift which gives us an inside look at some of the as-of-yet unannounced cars to feature in Shift. A fast action paced video demonstrates the highly detailed car interiors and car modelling. Electronic Arts mentioned that there will be a flood of information to be expected in the following days regarding Shift.

Simbin have just announced that Volvo – The game is now available for download. It is downloadable free of charge. Test your skills with a selection of historic beasts and test your driving skills on the two included real world circuits – Gothenburg Eco Drive Arena in Göteborg, Sweden and Chayka outside Kiev in the Ukraine.

In an official press release from Codemasters, FUEL is named the biggest console game of all time which is recognised by Guinness World Records. With its massive playable environment of 5,560 sq mi (14,400 km²) it is most definitely worthy of such award. “We’ve been very impressed with the technology powering FUEL, and I’m pleased to welcome Asobo and Codemasters into the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition,” said Gaz Deaves, Video Games Records Manager for Guinness World Records.
NFS Network released 3 new screenshots of Need for Speed Shift by Electronic Arts and Slightly Mad Studios.
The 3 shots show the new Skyline GTR, a Lotus Elise and the legendary Ford GT40.

The latest video from Codemasters demonstrates the online capabilities of their upcoming title “FUEL”. In true race format players can climb the leader boards and compete against upto 15 other raers. We are looking forward to the release but FUEL looks like a very promising game title, especially in multiplayer functionality.
Today NASCAR and iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations announced that the 2 organisations are working together to create a NASCAR-sanctioned online racing series. This will include a competition division officially licenced by NASCAR while is organising and hosting the event.
This online series is planned for release in early 2010 and will allow NASCAR fans to battle out online anywhere in the world. This will also feature the most accurate digital duplicates of real NASCAR cars and tracks.
Blake Davidson, NASCAR’s managing director of licensed products had commented that “The online world is an ever growing marketplace filled with NASCAR fans. To provide those fans with the most realistic NASCAR racing environment, iRacing was the right partner for us”. A number of NASCAR drivers are currently iRacing members so you never know who you might meet on the track.
Before Electronic Arts prepares for the E3 Conference a few more screenshots have emerged, this time showing the Aston Martin Racing DBR9.
